The Via Transilvanica trail traverses the fairytale lands of Bukovina through 10 counties. It starts in Putna and ends on the banks of the Danube, in Drobeta Turnu-Severin.<\/p>\n
In addition to encouraging physical activity, the purpose of the entire project is to reinvent tourism in Romania’s rural areas. The idea for the trail was inspired by the famous Camino de Santiago in Spain.<\/p>\n
