A hotel located at the highest altitude in Romania will be built in Maramure\u0219. It is situated in the mountain town of Bor\u0219a, at an altitude of 1,633 m, in the immediate vicinity of the top station of the gondola lift serving the new Olympic slope, on the cliffs near P\u0103ltini\u0219 Peak, in a place known by locals as Buza Dealului. This is the first of several accommodation units to be built in that area to serve tourists, especially those coming for skiing. The Olympic slope in Bor\u0219a is the most modern in Southeast Europe, will be fully open this winter, and is 7 km long.<\/p>\n
The hotel was designed with a height regime of 4 levels, featuring among its amenities a restaurant with a capacity of 200 people and a SPA center with an indoor pool, overlooking the Rodna and Maramure\u0219 mountains; it will become the pool built at the highest altitude in Romania.<\/p>\n
The investor is the company Albrom SRL, now controlled by entrepreneur Ramona Roman, who owns several tourist accommodation units, the most significant being the Nord Hotel tourist complex.<\/p>\n
