Nine hotels in Eforie Sud and Eforie Nord, along with other assets on the Romanian seaside, will be put up for auction following Transilvania Investments’ decision to reposition its hospitality sector portfolio.<\/p>\n
The proposal will be discussed on November 29-30 during the General Meeting of Shareholders of THR Marea Neagr\u0103, in which the investment fund holds a 78.6% stake.<\/p>\n
Among the assets put up for sale are the Brad-Bran-Bega Complex, Venus Complex, Minerva Hotel, Diana Complex, Jupiter Hotel, Eforie Household Group, and Workshops in Eforie Nord; M\u0103gura Complex, Cold Mud Baths, and Capitol Complex in Eforie Sud; Jupiter Household Group, Pelican Restaurant, and vacant land measuring 21,366 sqm in Saturn. The hotels currently total over 1,000 rooms rated at 2, 3, or 4 stars.<\/p>\n
According to the calendar to be discussed in the General Meeting, all assets proposed for sale will be put up for public auction no later than January 31, 2023, as valuation procedures are completed.<\/p>\n
Together with the team of consultants involved, the investment fund has decided to concentrate resources on a portion of the current portfolio, with other assets to be sold or leased.<\/p>\n
