ISHO representatives have confirmed that construction work on the Radisson Blu hotel will resume as part of the development plan for the service mix on Take Ionescu Boulevard in Timi\u0219oara.<\/p>\n
Work began in May 2019 and, according to the plans, should have been completed in 2021. It reached the foundation and first-floor stage, but the investors’ plans were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
The 5-star hotel at ISHO will feature 160 rooms, a concept rooftop restaurant and bar, as well as a 1,000 sqm social space including a ballroom, a high-performance conference center, and a 24\/7 fitness center, as well as an outdoor swimming pool located on the top floor of the building.<\/p>\n
The hotel will also feature a conference center, meeting rooms, a leisure space, and a ballroom.<\/p>\n
The hotel’s architecture is signed by the Andreescu & Gaivoronschi firm from Timi\u0219oara, while the interior design is by Blocher & Blocher, Germany.<\/p>\n
The hotel will be an integral component of the ISHO mixed-use real estate project in Timi\u0219oara, which includes over 1,000 apartments and 50,000 sqm of next-generation offices.<\/p>\n
The hotel will be operated by Radisson Hotel Group, a company whose portfolio in Romania will increase to four Radisson Blu hotels and one Park Inn by Radisson hotel.<\/p>\n
