The Grand Hotel was built between 1911 and 1912 and is registered on the list of historical monuments; it is known as the former headquarters of the Gala\u021bi Municipality. After the municipality moved to its new headquarters, the old building remained waiting for a buyer willing to pay the sum of 2.45 million EUR.<\/p>\n<p>The purchase offer comes from the neighbors across the street, &#8220;Dun\u0103rea de Jos&#8221; University of Gala\u021bi. The technical-economic indicators of the building will be submitted for approval to the Board of Directors and the University Senate after the building&#8217;s evaluation is completed.<\/p>\n<p>If acquired, after rehabilitation, an IT business incubator will be set up\u2014an IT and technology hub where students and the business environment will have the opportunity to collaborate and develop.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Hotel is a building in a composite style, with neoclassical and baroque decorative elements. From an architectural point of view, two bow windows stand out, arranged symmetrically relative to the main entrance and richly decorated, framed with vertical ornaments featuring geometric and floral motifs, well-emphasized at the eaves level by semicircular decorative pediments.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the building is in very good condition, as the fact that it was functional until recently has kept it in excellent shape.
