The 5-star Radisson Blu hotel, located next to Cluj Arena, is expanding its eastern wing with a new building featuring two basement levels, a ground floor, a mezzanine, eight full floors, and one recessed floor.<\/p>\n
The basement will house parking spaces and technical areas required for the proposed functions. The project also proposes the rehabilitation of the existing alley, with access from George Co\u0219buc Street, using grass pavers. This will serve for service access and interventions during exceptional events when traffic on Stadium Alley (Aleea Stadionului) is closed.<\/p>\n
With the completion of the new building, which will be predominantly made of glass, the hotel will add 25 new rooms, for which 20 additional parking spaces will be allocated on the second basement level.<\/p>\n
The expansion follows a successful legal dispute won by the business owner, Winners First, against Cluj-Napoca City Hall, securing the 5,697 sqm land parcel.<\/p>\n
Radisson Blu Cluj-Napoca, the city’s first five-star hotel under an international brand, was inaugurated recently.
