Special attention will be given to Timi\u0219oara, a city that holds the title of European Capital of Culture in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The first tourism fair this year in which MAT will participate is Caravaning Motor Touristik (CMT), organized in Stuttgart, Germany, from January 14-22. The event is particularly dedicated to tourists who choose to spend their holidays traveling by caravan. Thus, the emphasis is placed predominantly on destinations that can offer nature experiences, as well as city-breaks. Our country&#8217;s stand is 20 m\u00b2, located in a high-traffic area of the venue. Estimates show that approx. 300,000 visitors attend the exhibition annually. This year&#8217;s edition brings together over 2,000 exhibitors.<\/p>\n<p>FITUR, organized in Madrid, Spain, from January 18-22, is the most important exhibition worldwide for tourism professionals and the most prestigious profile fair for Ibero-American markets. Within Romania&#8217;s national stand, which has an area of 54 m\u00b2, city-break destinations and cultural tourism will be promoted. The exhibition is also dedicated to consumers, who generally attend in numbers exceeding 250,000. This year&#8217;s edition will feature approx.<\/p>\n<p>Les Thermalies is the last international tourism fair MAT is attending in January. The exhibition, organized from January 19-22 in Paris, is the most important in France for the balneology segment. Romania will be present with a stand covering 30 m\u00b2 and will promote local destinations that possess natural therapeutic factors and treatment facilities.
