He is also a founder of the National Association of Travel Agencies (ANAT), established in 1990, and served as its first president. He was a Secretary of State in the Ministry of Tourism between 2001-2002 and led ANAT from 1990-1993 and 2016-2018; he currently serves as the association’s vice president. The executive is a graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and completed specialized tourism courses in Israel, Greece, and Romania, and since 2005, he has held a PhD in business tourism.<\/p>\n
