Theodora and Mihai Mincu received the 5-star hotel from George Becali, who purchased it in 2021 from Interagro, the group owned by businessman Ioan Niculae, during an auction for 6.8 million EUR. Ioan Niculae had modernized the former Carmen Hotel with approximately 10 million EUR and reopened it in 2013. A new reopening took place last year under the name Becali Hotel.<\/p>\n
The hotel, built in 1971, has 5 floors, 92 rooms, a built area of 2,670 sqm, and 4,584 sqm of land, with direct beach access, two restaurants, and an outdoor pool.
