Accor has announced that it wants to open over 1,200 hotels by 2027. For 2023, the French hotel group is counting on an increase of between 15% and 20% in revenue per available room (RevPAR). It also expects an operating profit ranging between 920 and 960 million EUR.<\/p>\n
Accor CEO Sebastien Bazin mentioned that this growth is due to “the confirmation of a very extensive international demand across different countries, a summer season that will be good based on current data regarding reservation levels, and therefore demand is increasing for all segments of the group and in all geographic areas.”<\/p>\n
At the same time, the French group expects an annual growth of 9 \u2013 12% in operating profit from 2023 until 2027. During the mentioned period, Accor intends to reward shareholders with 3 billion EUR via dividends and share buybacks.<\/p>\n
The hotel group owns 5,000 hotels, residences, and resorts in 110 countries. Accor operates a network of 12 hotels in Romania, with approximately 1,641 rooms in Bucharest, Sibiu, Constanta, and Arad.<\/p>\n
In its development plans for Romania, Accor wants to open another 11 new hotels until 2022, which will add 1,510 new rooms to the French group’s portfolio.<\/p>\n
