It is followed by Bucovina and the Danube Delta.<\/p>\n<p>The idea for the competition came from the members of the Tourism Press Club \u2013 FIJET Romania, who launched a project titled \u201cFIJET Romania Destinations 2023.\u201d Tourism journalists initiated an effort to identify ten outstanding destinations in Romania to make them even more well-known, both domestically and abroad, and to reward the appearance and development of tourism in the respective areas.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 destinations selected by FIJET Romania members are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fundata;<\/li>\n<li>Bucovina;<\/li>\n<li>Danube Delta;<\/li>\n<li>Dur\u0103u;<\/li>\n<li>\u021aara Mo\u021bilor;<\/li>\n<li>\u0218inca Veche;<\/li>\n<li>Sturdza Complex \u2013 Micl\u0103u\u0219eni;<\/li>\n<li>\u021aara Ha\u021begului;<\/li>\n<li>Gura Porti\u021bei;<\/li>\n<li>Sulina.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fundata is the settlement located at the highest altitude in Romania, which also makes it the locality with the cleanest air in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The centerpiece of Fundata commune lies in its local gastronomy. Dairy products and all their derivatives, as well as sheep or beef, immediately captivate tourists.
