The Government has approved the “Support Program for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Tourism,” and the executive’s spokesperson, Daniel Vod\u0103, estimated that around 50 economic agents could benefit from these grants, which will generate 50 new jobs and maintain at least 100 existing ones, as well as investments in the national economy worth approximately EUR 2,096,800. Additionally, at least 25 enterprises will diversify their range of services and products.<\/p>\n
The program is aimed at applicants who carry out entrepreneurial activities in tourism or related activities, with potential for organizing tourism activities in villages, communes, and towns with a population of up to 30,000 inhabitants. Priority will be given to applicants involved in the rural tourism value chain.<\/p>\n
The non-reimbursable financial support can cover a maximum of 70% of the value of the investment project and cannot exceed the amount of EUR 25 thousand per beneficiary.<\/p>\n
The budget for the program, to be implemented over the next three years, is approximately EUR 1.5 million, provided by the European Union.<\/p>\n
