The Accor team recently inaugurated the new Accor Corner at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management within the Romanian-American University. The space, which has undergone a remarkable transformation, is intended to welcome students and become a hub of inspiration, learning, and collaboration. Designed with students’ potential for growth and development in mind, Accor Corner is a testament to the group’s commitment to educating and supporting the future leaders of the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n
The launch of Accor Corner took place in the presence of Felicia Dinc\u0103, Talent & Culture Manager Romania and SEE at Accor, Laurent PICHERAL, former member of the Accor Executive Committee, Costel Negricea, Rector of the Romanian-American University, Camelia Gheorghe, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management within the Romanian-American University, and Patricia Dodu, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The event brought together students from the university and numerous Accor leaders and provided an opportunity for meaningful conversations about the future of tourism.<\/p>\n
The space is much more than a physical hub. It will offer countless opportunities for mentoring, professional training, and skill development, while symbolizing Accor’s dedication to empowering the next generation of hospitality professionals.<\/p>\n
The group, which currently has over 1,000 employees in the country, will hire more than 1,000 new team members by 2025 to support the opening and operation of over 25 new hotels.<\/p>\n
