Preparations have begun for the 2023 \u2013 2024 season of the “Hotel of Ice B\u00e2lea Lac” project, which is built annually in the F\u0103g\u0103ra\u0219 Mountains, Sibiu County, for the 17th consecutive year\u2014a unique tourist attraction in Romania.<\/p>\n

This year’s theme is “Modern Art in Ice,” and each room in the upcoming hotel will bear the name of a well-known contemporary artist, with the interior decor being inspired by modern art.<\/p>\n

Every year, in the glacial cauldron of B\u00e2lea Lake, located at an altitude of over 2000 m in the F\u0103g\u0103ra\u0219 Mountains, the Ice Hotel, the Ice Church, and igloos are constructed using ice blocks extracted from the lake.<\/p>\n
