Works have commenced on the M6 metro line to Otopeni Airport, specifically with the start of concrete pouring and reinforcement for the guide beam at the future “B\u0103neasa Airport” metro station, as well as the organization and supply of bored piles.<\/p>\n
Near the future Tokyo Station and in the vicinity of B\u0103neasa Airport, site organization activities have begun for the administrative coordinating center, referred to as the “main site,” dedicated to structural resistance works.<\/p>\n
Mihai Barbu, Chairman of the Metrorex Board of Directors: “Works have started on the Tokyo section, as we call the station at the B\u0103neasa commercial complex, up to the 1 Mai station. Work has begun at almost all stations on this section, so those drilling machines will start digging. They are scheduled to begin at the end of July or the beginning of August, as the contractor informed us.”<\/p>\n
For the future “Gara B\u0103neasa” station, a manual study of the station’s foundation has been completed, and disinfection, disinsectization, and deratization operations have been carried out.<\/p>\n
Metrorex also specifies that at the future “Pia\u021ba Montreal” station, topographical measurements were taken, and the upper slab of the underground structure identified on the station site was demolished.<\/p>\n
Additionally, at this station, 469 meters of fencing were installed between the park and the roadway, along with a gate for vehicle access and one for pedestrian access; 239 meters of exploratory excavations for utility networks were also performed.<\/p>\n
