One United Properties has signed a partnership with Ennismore to open a Mondrian hotel in the center of the Capital, near the Romanian Athenaeum, and the Romanian developer announced that it will open two more hotels in the next six years.<\/p>\n
The opening of the new 5-star hotel, for which the developer had announced the agreement with Ennismore since last autumn, is scheduled for 2026.<\/p>\n
The new 5-star hotel will be inaugurated in 2026 and will offer approximately 100 luxury rooms and suites. The estimated value of the project is EUR 50 million.<\/p>\n
The chosen location for the Mondrian Bucharest hotel is 8-10 Georges Clemenceau Street, in the center of the Capital. One United Properties recently acquired an unfinished building in the area with the aim of transforming it into a luxury hotel.<\/p>\n
On the same street, the company is restoring a historic building, Braikoff House, which will be known as One Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e. The restoration of the building will contribute to the revitalization of the area around the Romanian Athenaeum.<\/p>\n
A third location for a future hotel is still under analysis by One United Properties.<\/p>\n
The Mondrian brand has a rich history, with the first hotel opening in 1985 in Los Angeles. Over time, the brand has expanded to numerous major cities around the world, including New York, London, Paris, and Singapore.<\/p>\n
One United Properties stands out for its involvement in the restoration of historical monuments. In 2022, the company acquired One Downtown, including the former Muntenia Hotel and the former Ford factory within One Floreasca City, which will be transformed into the One Gallery commercial space.<\/p>\n
The total value of the investment allocated to the portfolio of restored buildings by One United Properties is estimated at EUR 189 million.<\/p>\n
