\u201eQ1 is above last year’s performance, the market looks good, and we are gradually increasing our market share after about two years of operation. Regarding the final result for 2023, we can say that we exceeded the budgeted amount, specifically by 3%. Normally, this upward trend should continue in 2024, but this year is slightly atypical,\u201c Nina Moldovan, president of the board of Winners, the company managing the five-star Radisson Blu hotel in Cluj-Napoca, told Ziarul Financiar.<\/p>\n
The hotel offers 149 rooms of various types, a conference room with a capacity of 300 seats, and five smaller conference rooms.<\/p>\n
Radisson Blu Cluj is the first five-star hotel in Cluj-Napoca affiliated with an international brand. The total investment in the project was approximately 26 million EUR, the building being the result of a thorough renovation of the former Sport Hotel.<\/p>\n
The project was carried out by Winners Park Invest, a company controlled by Horia Ciorcil\u0103. In 2018, the company purchased the Sport Hotel from SIF Moldova for 5.6 million EUR.<\/p>\n
Winners First, the company operating the hotel, recorded a turnover of 15.7 million RON in 2022 and had 65 employees.<\/p>\n
