Bra\u0219ov has received the special award for the tourist county of the year during the Destination of the Year 2024 Gala.<\/p>\n
Destination of the Year 2024 was awarded to the municipality of Sibiu, while the special ‘County of the Year 2024’ award was won by Bra\u0219ov County, thanks to the highest number of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings obtained by destinations within Bra\u0219ov across the competition categories.<\/p>\n
Bra\u0219ov County had nominations in 11 out of the 12 categories.<\/p>\n
The Special Award for the county with the most winning destinations this year was claimed by Bra\u0219ov County, which hosts seven award-winning destinations.<\/p>\n
Leading positions were also held by the counties of Sibiu, Harghita, Suceava, and Hunedoara.<\/p>\n
