Of the total number of arrivals, during the period 01.01.-30.04.2024, arrivals of Romanian tourists in tourist reception structures with accommodation functions represented 82.3%, while arrivals of foreign tourists represented 17.7%. Overnight stays registered in tourist reception structures (including apartments and rooms for rent) during the period 01.01.-30.04.2024 totaled 6,369.8 thousand, up 1.3% compared to those from the period 01.01.-30.04.2023. Of the total number of overnight stays, in the period 01.01.-30.04.2024, overnight stays of Romanian tourists in tourist reception structures with accommodation functions represented 79.6%, while overnight stays of foreign tourists represented 20.4%. The average length of stay during the period 01.01.-30.04.2024 was 1.8 days for Romanian tourists and 2.2 days for foreign tourists.<\/p>\n
The net utilization index of tourist accommodation places during the period 01.01.-30.04.2024 was 23.4% for total tourist accommodation structures (including apartments and rooms for rent), a decrease of 0.5 percentage points compared to the period 01.01.-30.04.2023.<\/p>\n
