The event, which takes place from January 15-18 at the Messe Wien exhibition center, is a strategic platform for promoting the regional tourist offer and, specifically, the Banat&#8217;s candidacy for the title of European Gastronomic Region 2028. <\/p>\n<p>The consortium mobilized by the Visit Timis Association to ensure the presence in Vienna includes relevant partners such as HORETIM, Arad County Council, Visit Oradea and Visit Sibiu. This alliance of local administrations and promotional organizations aims to attract tourists and international partnerships, focusing on cultural tourism, gastronomic experiences, urban and rural holidays and sustainable activities. Mr. Alfred Simonis, President of Timis County Council, said that this joint approach demonstrates the ability to act in a unified and professional manner, making up for the lack of central government representation at the most important trade fair in Austria.  <\/p>\n<p>The agenda of the fair is built around the project &#8220;Banat &#8211; European Gastronomic Region 2028&#8221;, an initiative led by CJ Timis and implemented with a large group of partners, including the University of Life Sciences &#8220;King Mihai I&#8221;, IGCAT, Produs \u00een Banat, GAL Colinele Reca\u0219, My Banat Association, Degust\u0103ria and CRIES. To maximize the impact, the Visit Timis stand will host a business breakfast, where local gastronomy will be used as a networking tool with industry specialists and representatives of the international press.
