Five major projects, backed by local investors and regional groups, are scheduled to open between 2028-2029, responding to growing demand from the corporate, medical tourism and events segments. <\/p>\n<p>The expansion includes four- and five-star developments. The announced projects are Hotel Brizo (5-star, 150 rooms, Cableways investor), Continental Forum (4-star, 153 rooms, Continental Hotels), a hotel within the Silk District real estate project (160 rooms, Prime Capital), Three Sarmale Inn (4-star, 102 rooms, Fio Group) and Breazu Forrest (4-star, 100 rooms, Buz Residence). The Brizo project will mark the market entry of the first five-star hotel of this investment wave. Some projects, such as the Continental Forum, are still in the process of obtaining construction permits.   <\/p>\n<p>Although this wave of investment will transform Iasi&#8217;s business and luxury accommodation offer and strengthen the city&#8217;s position as a regional hub, a peculiarity of the local market remains the absence of major international hotel chains.
