However, the slow tourism segment, focused on authentic experiences, nature and relaxation, has shown resilience, remaining at a constant level compared to previous years. <\/p>\n<p>According to operators in the region, the decline in mass tourism has been influenced by three main factors: the war in Ukraine, speedboat accidents which have generated a negative perception, and the increased caution of Romanian consumers in the context of measures to reduce the budget deficit. As a consequence, many operators targeting high volumes of customers scaled back their activities, while providers of quality services such as slow excursions, gastronomic tastings and fishing tourism continued to attract a steady audience. Prices in this niche segment remained unchanged from two years ago. Many accommodations are currently closed as operators start preparations for the next season.   <\/p>\n<p>The outlook for 2024 is optimistic for the genuine tourism segment, with bookings already made for peak periods such as the fishing month of September.
