Losses amounted to RON6.9 mil, the fourth consecutive year in the red. Debt totaled RON 42 mln (vs. RON 38 mln in 2023) and the number of employees fell to 124.      <\/p>\n<p>The hotel, built in the 1970s and modernized with an investment of EUR 10 million, has 141 rooms. It was bought by Com\u0103nescu in 2005 for \u20ac2.5 million and upgraded to 5-star standard after reopening in 2008.   <\/p>\n<p>Financial difficulties are not limited to tourism. GSP Offshore, the main company in Com\u0103nescu&#8217;s portfolio, also went into insolvency this summer after unpaid employees filed for insolvency. <\/p>\n<p>In 2023, GSP Offshore had revenues of RON 605 mln (-13% vs. 2022) and a net profit of only RON 1.3 mln (vs. RON 16.4 mln in 2022). Debt climbed to 2.3 bn. RON, amid a steady decline in business.
