The investment, of 112 million RON including VAT, was financed by PNDL, the contract was signed in January 2022, with a 60-month works guarantee.  <\/p>\n<p>The 14.6 km section links Suceava and Neamt counties, from Malini to Borca, and crosses a mountainous area with spectacular scenery. At St\u00e2ni\u0219oara Pass, an entrance gate, a parking lot and a lookout point are to be built. <\/p>\n<p>The road has a history of over 100 years: built between 1902-1914, on the orders of King Charles I, by Italian craftsmen (&#8220;Talieni&#8221;), it was originally used for military and commercial purposes.
