The hotel market in the Republic of Moldova will expand with a new world-class establishment with the opening of the Ibis Styles hotel in the fall of 2025. The project, an investment of EUR 12 million, is being developed by Regata Imobiliare, a company owned by businessman Ceslav Ciuhrii, and will operate under the umbrella of the French Accor Group.<\/p>\n
The new hotel will be a key component of the multifunctional complex “German Village”, strategically located on the main artery connecting the capital to Chisinau International Airport. The unit will have 100 rooms with a modern design, an event center of over 200 square meters, a restaurant and other facilities tailored for both the business and tourist segments.<\/p>\n
The decision to realize this investment comes in the context of an accelerated growth of Moldova’s attractiveness as a destination. The dynamics is confirmed by the evolution of traffic at Chisinau International Airport, which recorded a 48.3% increase in the number of passengers in the first half of 2025, compared to the same period of the previous year, exceeding 2.45 million people.<\/p>\n
