The plan, to be implemented in a public-private partnership, aims to transform the area into a destination of national importance, covering a total area of 140 hectares. <\/p>\n<p>The agreement was concluded with Solathon Europe SRL, an investment vehicle set up earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key components of the tourism project:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Multipurpose Tourist Complex (Ciurbe\u0219ti):<\/b> The largest component, with an estimated investment of <b>\u20ac250 million<\/b> on 90 hectares. The project includes a year-round <b>indoor ski slope<\/b>, a hotel, a conference center for business tourism, swimming pools and an extensive leisure area. <\/li>\n<li><b>Am Amusement Park (Corne\u0219ti):<\/b> a <b>\u20ac100 million<\/b> investment on 20 hectares, which foresees the creation of a &#8220;Dino &amp; Zoo Park&#8221; theme park, including a zoo and adventure zones.<\/li>\n<li><b>Thermal Complex (Uricani):<\/b> planned under the name &#8220;Therme Nymphae&#8221;, it aims to invest <b>\u20ac60 million<\/b> on 30 hectares and will include an aquapark, pools, wellness &amp; SPA center and medical recovery facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Partnership structure and risks<\/b><\/p>\n<p>It is essential to note that the document signed is an <b>agreement in principle (memorandum) with no immediate legal effect.<\/b> It establishes the intention of the parties to work together, but becomes null and void if the legal procedures for the conclusion of a firm public-private partnership (PPP) contract are not started within 12 months. <\/p>\n<p>According to the agreement, the Miroslava City Hall is committed to provide the necessary land and to support the administrative steps (urban plans, authorizations), while the private partner, Solathon Europe, is responsible for developing the technical documentation and attracting the necessary funding and investors for the implementation.<\/p>\n<p>If implemented, this ambitious project would completely reposition the Iasi metropolitan area on the Romanian tourism map, but its success depends entirely on the ability of the partners to turn the current memorandum into a set of contracts that can be financed and bankable in the next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The City Hall of Miroslava, a town in the immediate vicinity of Iasi, has signed an agreement in principle for the development of a tourism and leisure infrastructure project valued at over 410 million euro.
