For example, only \u20ac9 million worth of holiday vouchers were sold in May, compared to \u20ac75 million in May 2024. <\/p>\n<p>The decrease came after public sector employees learned earlier this year that the value of their holiday vouchers would be cut to 800 lei, half the previous year&#8217;s level. The government has also announced that from this year onwards, only civil servants with a net income of 6,000 lei or less will receive vacation vouchers. <\/p>\n<p>The government also decided in April 2025 that in order to receive them, employees had to sign an affidavit pledging to contribute an additional 800 lei from their own funds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the first five months of 2025, 72% fewer vacation vouchers were purchased compared to the same period last year.
