The resort of Predeal wants to increase its attractiveness and is investing in expanding the ski area. This spring, the feasibility study for the first stage of the expansion in the Cl\u0103bucet Sosire area was approved, and now the expropriation procedure has been started. The land has been evaluated and according to a notice from the City Hall there are two areas in the area for which the owners will receive compensation. One of the plots is 15,000 square meters and the other 1,512 square meters. A total of 179.140,09 RON will be allocated from the local budget for these expropriations.<\/p>\n
Predeal City Hall also wants to extend the night on the slopes and make it more energy efficient.<\/p>\n
One of the most popular slopes in Predeal is Cl\u0103bucet, which is about 2 km long and is perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers, with easy and medium inclines. The Coco\u0219ului slope is another of the resort’s attractions, about 1.5 km long, with steep inclines and a technical trail that tests the skier’s skills.<\/p>\n
