Curated by C\u0103lina Coman, Art in Motion reimagines the hotel’s public areas as a fluid and contemplative stage for contemporary art. Rather than commanding attention, the works invite visitors to encounter them in passing – subtly integrated into transitional spaces such as hallways, staircases and corridors. The exhibition is conceived not as a destination, but as a continuous, almost ambient experience that unfolds through movement. <\/p>\n
The emotional impact of these incidental moments is often delayed but profound. \u201cAn image glimpsed unintentionally can resurface long afterward,\u201d Coman reflects. \u201cLike a perfume or a taste remembered unexpectedly, it returns not as a thought but as a feeling. This kind of involuntary memory is one of the most discreet and powerful ways art permeates everyday life.\u201d <\/p>\n
The exhibition presents works by 13 contemporary Romanian artists: Alexandra Baranyi, Denisia C\u0103lin, Antonia Corduneanu, Andrei Costache, Maria Cosmaciuc, Ioana Dumitrescu, Anca Vintil\u0103 Dragu, Dan Dum\u0103noiu, Ana Lupu, Mircea Modreanu, R\u0103zvan N\u0103stase, Ioana Nicoar\u0103 and Mara Popa. Covering areas such as sculpture, painting and textiles, the pieces explore themes such as identity, memory, urban nostalgia and the passage of time. Each work is intentionally placed to be discovered gradually, woven into the natural choreography of the space. <\/p>\n
