The General Assembly of the European Historic Thermal Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA), an international reference event in the field of spa tourism, heritage and European cooperation, will take place from May 7 to 9.<\/p>\n
Representatives of public administrations, tourism and balneology specialists, heritage and sustainable development experts from the member cities of the European Historic Thermal Spa Towns Association (EHTTA) will meet early next month in B\u0103ile Herculane. The resort on the Cerna Valley is an active member of EHTTA since 2023 and from May 7 to 9 will host the General Assembly of the Association of Historic Thermal Spa Towns in Europe for the first time. <\/p>\n
Also on May 9, the resort of B\u0103ile Herculane will host a special edition of the European event “Bathrobe Addicts”, initiated by the French network Route des Villes d’Eaux du Massif Central, member of EHTTA. “In a symbolic and creative gesture to promote thermal culture, all participants in the event will parade in bathrobes in public spaces of the city to convey a message of European thermal solidarity. This unique and visually spectacular moment will be a celebration of a healthy lifestyle, relaxation and belonging to a continental network of historic thermal destinations”, said the representatives of the B\u0103ile Herculane Town Hall. <\/p>\n
The Association of Historic Spa Towns of Europe was founded in 2009 and aims to: strengthen cooperation between Europe’s spa towns at transnational level; promote the network at European level, in close cooperation with European institutions and with the support of European programs; encourage, promote and develop research, analysis, studies and statistics in the spa sector; improve and protect the architectural and artistic heritage of the spa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
