A private transportation line to tourist destinations in the counties of Sibiu, Brasov and Mures has been opened.<\/p>\n
The UNESCO – Bus was created for tourists who don’t want to drive, but instead want to focus on their destinations.<\/p>\n
Operated by a private company, Carpathian Travel Center, the minibuses follow a specific route with stops near major attractions. The area of southern Transylvania – with villages that are home to UNESCO fortified churches – stretches across three counties. <\/p>\n
There are three transportation lines, blue, yellow and red, each following a different route, two departing from mun. Sibiu and one departing from. mun. Bra\u0219ov, all including the fortress of Sighi\u0219oara. <\/p>\n
“UNESCO-Bus is realized in partnership with the management of the Transylvanian Hills destination, certified for ecotourism by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, and the Sibiu County Tourism Association.<\/p>\n
There are three transportation lines, blue, yellow and red, each following a different route.<\/p>\n
The Blue Line starts in Sibiu and goes through Valea Viilor, Media\u0219, Mo\u0219na, Alma Vii, Richi\u0219, Biertan and Sighi\u0219oara, from where it returns to Sibiu.<\/p>\n
The Yellow Line follows the route Sibiu, Hosman, Al\u021b\u00e2na, Agnita, Br\u0103deni, Apold, Sighi\u0219oara, Hoghilag, Dumbr\u0103veni, Biertan, Richi\u0219, Corn\u0103\u021bel and Sibiu.<\/p>\n
The Red Line goes through Brasov, Feldioara, Rupea, Viscri, Cri\u021b, Saschiz, Sighisoara. From here the bus returns to Brasov. <\/p>\n
A ticket costs EUR 45 for 24-hour access and EUR 80 for 48 hours on all lines. Children under 12 pay EUR 30 and EUR 60 respectively for a 2-day pass, while a one-way ticket costs RON 100. <\/p>\n
UNESCO-Bus announces that it operates in all weather conditions and that it reserves the right to refuse to pick up customers who are visibly drunk or have consumed hallucinogens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
