{"id":108884,"date":"2025-01-29T08:54:53","date_gmt":"2025-01-29T06:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/three-new-routes-from-ungheni-enrich-the-countrys-tourist-offer\/"},"modified":"2025-01-29T08:54:53","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T06:54:53","slug":"three-new-routes-from-ungheni-enrich-the-countrys-tourist-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/en\/three-new-routes-from-ungheni-enrich-the-countrys-tourist-offer\/","title":{"rendered":"Three new routes from Ungheni enrich the country&#8217;s tourist offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the year 2024, the Ungheni region will enrich its tourist offer with three new tourist routes: &#8220;On the Mountains of Mo Movila Magura&#8221;, &#8220;Bessarabian Bucovina&#8221; and &#8220;From the Prut to Movila Magura&#8221;, developed by the tourist cluster &#8220;Mountains of Movila Magura&#8221; in collaboration with the Association for Tourism Development in Moldova. The trails were created under the program &#8220;EU4Moldova: Key Regions&#8221;, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF. The first tourist route &#8220;From the Prut to Movila Magura&#8221; includes 36 tourist attractions with a total length of 118 km. The route starts from the village of Sculeni and continues through Gherman and Alexeevca, passing through R\u0103denii Vechi and the &#8220;Plaiul Fagului&#8221; Scientific Reserve. It offers the opportunity to visit the Church &#8220;Holy Trinity&#8221; from 1890, the village museum, the &#8220;Sweet Plain&#8221; factory and the commemorative sign of Prince G. A. Potiomkin of Taurida. The route ends with visits to the guesthouse &#8220;Vilador Farm&#8221; in Slobozia-M\u0103gura, Mirce\u0219ti Wine Cellar for wine tasting and cultural and historical sights in the village of M\u0103gurele and Mirce\u0219ti. The second route, entitled &#8220;On the Lands of Movilei M\u0103gura&#8221;, is 65 km long and lasts 8-9 hours. It offers a diversified experience, including tastings of local herbal teas and visits to the Vilador Farm guesthouse in Slobozia-M\u0103gura village, S\u00eengerei district, which offers accommodation, meals and recreation. On the way, tourists can explore Movila M\u0103gura and the village of Slobozia-M\u0103gura, where the Holy Trinity Church is located. In the village of M\u0103gurele you can visit the parental home of the humorist Efim Tarlapan, the \u021aigl\u0103u Hill with its three crosses, the village museum and the Church of Saints Michael and Gabriel. In Mirce\u0219ti there are places of historical significance such as the house of the fisherman Samson Hurghi\u0219, the school built in 1930 and the pristine wooden church of St. Archangel Michael. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Monastery of St. Elijah the Prophet and the Mirce\u0219ti Wine Cellar, where wine tastings are organized. At the same time, the &#8220;Vilador Farm&#8221; Guesthouse and Mirce\u0219ti Wine Cellar, part of the &#8220;Dealurile M\u0103gurii&#8221; Tourist Cluster, offer services for guests, and the &#8220;Vilador Farm&#8221; Guesthouse also functions as a tourist information center. The third route called &#8220;Bessarabian Bucovina&#8221; is 50 km long and is partly pedestrianized. The trail starts at the Bahmut intersection and continues to the &#8220;Plaiul Fagului&#8221; scientific reserve, 4 km away. The next stop is the village of R\u0103denii Vechi, 5.6 km away, where you can visit the Church of the Holy Trinity, the village museum in the House of Culture, the Sweet Plai Factory and the Memorial of Prince G. A. Potiomkin of Taurida. At a distance of 25 km is the village of P\u00eerli\u021ba, which offers a local trail with attractions such as the Village Museum, the Church of St. John the Baptist, the site of the former wooden church of St. John the Baptist, the ruins of the Carastachi-Buharin family mansion, a stretch of the old cobbled street, the former primary school and the Museum of Agricultural Technology. The trail ends at the Pension &#8220;Poplars without Husbands&#8221;, 8 km away.
